Design of the portable veterinary X-ray machine
Kalenský, Ondřej ; Surman, Martin (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the design of a product family of portable veterinary x-ray generators. The thesis deals with the possibilities of using parameterization when designing products which are part of a product series. The main body of the thesis lies in the design of a parametric script which generates variations of portable veterinary x-ray generators depending on the size and position of the inner components. The outer surfaces are defined by algorithms from the input parameters. It is possible to alter the individual attributes (e.g. the progresion of curves, the dimensions of component parts and the proportions between the individual parts). The output from the parametric script is three size-variations of the product.
Preparation of edible antimicrobial packaging
Kozubová, Petra ; Dzurická, Lucia (referee) ; Skoumalová, Petra (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on preparation and characterization of eatable packaging. Eatable packaging consists of two components, antimicrobial component and base of packaging. The task of eatable packaging is to protect product against antimicrobial attack and to extend durability of the product. As antimicrobial components were used water and oil extracts of several herbs (mint, nettle, lavender, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, ginger and rhinoceros). Oil extracts were also encapsulated into liposomes for better application. Firstly, concentrations of polyphenoles and antioxidants of extracts were determined. Oil extract of clove contained the highest concentration of both determined substances. Encapsulation efficiency, stability and size of liposomes were tested too. All prepared liposomes were stable and relatively of the same size. Also high encapsulation efficiency was observed. Next, antimicrobial activity of prepared extracts and liposome particles against yeast Candida glabrata and two bacteria strains Escherichia coli and Staphycococcus epidermidis was tested and the high antimicrobial activity reported mainly all tested liposomes. Then alginate, chitosan and carboxymethylcellulose and their combinations respectively were used as bases of packaging. Created film had to meet several parameters, especially suitable sensory properties such as pleasant taste and smell, as well as invisibility, gloss, affordability and suitable manipulability. Combination of 2% carboxymethylcellulose and 1% alginate in a ration of 2:1 with liposomes of mint as antimicrobial component achieved the best results.
Design of mechanism for pronation and supination of the upper limb prostheses
Rebenda, David ; Košťál, David (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The goal of of this work is to propose a mechanism for pronation and supination of the upper limb prosthesis and its subsequent implementation of functional prototype. The teoretical part summarizes the basic types of forearm amputation and the effect of restricting rotation of the forearm. It also describes the basic distribution of upper limb prostheses and drive types. Construction design includ complete technical documentation is made in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2013 and Rhinoceros 5.0 SR8. The prototype is made of aluminium and ABS plastic.
Roof of the swimming pool
Pelikán, Adam ; Šopík, Leonard (referee) ; Stráský, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis is about designing the structure of roof of swimming stadium. Three solutions are created - concrete arc with tie, steel truss slab and concrete pretensioned membrane. One choosed solution - concrete pretensioned membrane - is afterwards developed. In the beginning there are several designs of geometry fulfilling the requirements for given type of structure being created. In part of static calculation, the parametrical mathematical model in form of macro in APDL language for Ansys software has been created. Afterwards all the parameters (initial state of cables, level of pretension, dimensions of membrane and peripheral frame, etc.) has been optimized in order to the membrane be fulfilling criterias for ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Afterwards other selected parts of structure has been checked. On basis of designed geometry and design checks in static calculation the drawings of conctruction and designed parts has been created. In the end, the 3D model of the structure has been created in graphical software Rhinoceros. Then visualizations of structure in concstruction stages and after completion has been rendered.
The Use of Photogrammetry in the Real Estate Practice
Viktora, Jakub ; Daňhel, Petr (referee) ; Klika, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims to explore possibilities of using IT in real estate and projection practice. It deals with simplification of difficult or insolvable tasks. It focuses on rapidly developing field of photogrammetry and its further processing via software. The work presents methods of measurement of existing realties without using standard methods (tape line, laser). Instead of these tools, the author uses photographic data and program PhotoModeler for surveying and creating a 3D model of the facade. The thesis verifies further serviceability of gained data up to the render phase of the surveyed building facade.

Interaktivní prohlídka vytvořena pomocí nástroje Unity
Vu, Huy Hoang
Vu, H. H. Interactive tour created with the Unity. Brno: Mendel University in Brno 2018. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to create and implement virtual tours for the Ig- loonet, s. r. o. Firstly, the readers get familiarized with the processes available for the development and creation of virtual tours. Then the methods of creation of the interactive tour are described further. This virtual tour is made in the game engine Unity and all the models are modelled in the Rhinoceros tool. Users interact with ob- jects of model which cause the things to operate and perform some actions, thus. These interactive components are animated and scripted using C# programming language.
Technical shadows
Vlčková, Jana ; Hromadová, Jana (advisor) ; Surynková, Petra (referee)
Title: Technical shadows Author: Jana Vlčková Department: Departement of Mathematics Education Supervisor: RNDr. Jana Hromadová, Ph.D., Departement of Mathematics Education Abstract: This bachelor's thesis concerns with the topic of technical shadows. Technical shadows are a special case of parallel shadows and its direction has a special position towards the projection plane. It is commonly used for constructing solids of revolution's shadows and its systems. The thesis has eleven chapters, the first eight of which contain the theory of technical shadows, the ninth chapter contains examples and exercises. In the chapter ten there is described usage of computer software for construction of technical shadows. The last chapter is about shading which is not commonly used. Keywords: Lighting, Pillet plane, shading, shadow line, Rhinoceros
